Town of Annapolis Royal

If you’re coming to Annapolis Royal from outside the province, we encourage you to get a copy of the Doers’ & Dreamers’ Guide, an annual publication of the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage. It’s a well-organized, thorough and user-friendly book that no visitor should be without. You can have a copy of the Guide mailed to you by ordering online (www.novascotia.com), or phone 800-565-0000.

Closer to home, we recommend the Destination Southwest Nova Scotia Guide, which covers the Evangeline Trail and Lighthouse Routes. It can be ordered from the website: www.destinationsouthwestnova.com or by calling 866-456-5874.

Focusing on Annapolis Royal and the surrounding area, The Explorer has everything you need. It’s a local visitor guide that covers attractions, activities and services you’ll find in the immediate vicinity.

If you arrive here between mid-May and mid-October, the Annapolis District Board of Trade has knowledgeable and friendly staff to guide you. You’ll find them at the Visitor Information Centre, located at North America’s only tidal power generating station, on the causeway. In season, they can be reached at 902-526-0944.

If you’d like a package of information on Annapolis Royal and area mailed to you, please fill out an Information Package Request Form, or contact the Town directly at 902-532-2043, and we will promptly send you a package.

We hope you enjoy using the Town of Annapolis Royal Official Website, and the many links provided, to plan an exciting and memorable trip.
