The Municipality of the County of Annapolis in cooperation with Federation of Acadian in Nouvelle-Ecosse (FANE ) will be unveiling an interpretive sign dedicated to Joseph- Broussard dit Beausoleil at the Hebb’s Landing Park and Boat Launch on Wednesday August 14 from 4 to 5 pm . 7464 Highway #1 Upper Granville, NS
It is in this region that Joseph- Broussard dit Beausoleil was born in a place called Port Royal, near the shores of the Annapolis River, once called the River Dauphine . Times have changed and new names have shaped the settlement patterns.
His family homestead is located very near Hebb’s Landing Park and Boat Launch.
