King’s Theater: Next Gen Showcase

The show features both theatre and music! The first half is a selection of five short plays, performed and produced by the Next Gen Youth. The second half features the music of two local youth bands: Proletariat and Parallels.
The NEXT GEN THEATRE PROJECT is about giving youth opportunities to learn about all aspects of theatre — both on stage and backstage! A dozen local youth have been working at the theatre every week since January, doing a deep dive into what’s involved in theatre production. Two local youth bands have also been working at the theatre, exploring the tech side of music performance.
