Adult Lecture Series Salt Box Talks Revisited “Framed – The Art Around the Painting”

Learn about the history and function of frames in the golden age of frame making between the 14th and 19th centuries in Europe. Discover the stylistic differences in the ornamentation of frames; often as fascinating as that of the paintings themselves. Mr. Patterson’s collection of art is surrounded by some wonderful examples.

This program is designed for those who would like to discover and appreciate North Hills Museum and the surrounding community. The session will include a power-point presentation, a guided tour of the collection where applicable and refreshments. Each lecture is $6.00 per person.
