EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EVENTS COORDINATOR, ANNAPOLIS ROYAL

The Town of Annapolis Royal is looking to hire an Event Coordinator for upcoming community events to be held this summer.

The Event Coordinator will be under direction of the Community Development Coordinator and will be responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of all events and initiatives during the summer. The events are cultural, recreational, and economic based such as Natal Days, Canada Day, Friday Evening Music at the O, Summer Sport Camps, and others. The Event Coordinator will also assist with administrative duties, including updating and improving an online database of events, programs and facilities, and with social media promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-starter with superb time-management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook, data entry, Excel, and Word
  • Must be a student, high school, or post-secondary

Dates: 8 week contract, to commence June 20, 2023

Salary: $14.50/hr + 4% vacation pay

Location: Annapolis Royal Town Hall
