Fundy Art

June 25, 2017

Fundy Boatworks is a collaboration exploring and celebrating Maritime culture. It is a Sesquicentenial project and a partnership of the Annapolis Heritage Society and the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council.

We will visit, collect and represent the art the Bay of Fundy has inspired over the years.  Some items we may include are driftwood, sea glass, artfully arranged buoys or the watercolor seascapes hanging above the mantels in many homes.

Calling all artists! Please recommend artwork and artists inspired by the Bay, collectors, model boat builders and folk artists we should talk to. Then come and see what we have gathered beginning June 24th. Supported by Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage – 150 Forward Fund, the Municipality of the County of Annapolis, the Town of Annapolis Royal, the Historical Association of Annapolis Royal, and through a special partnership of the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council and the Annapolis Heritage Society.

From June 25th – July 24th
