In Honour of the Late Pat Power – Library

August 1 @ 4:30 pm

On Friday, August 1, 2025 the Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library will be having an event in honour of the late Pat Power, former long time Councillor of the Town of Annapolis Royal and Council representative to the Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library.

In addition to her commitment to the library as the Town of Annapolis Royal’s representative, Pat was a lover of wild flowers and gardens. To that end, the Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library are dedicating the small garden box under the sign for the Annapolis Royal Library, at the entrance to the Library at 143 Ritchie Street.

The event will be held on Friday, August 1 at 4:30 pm, at the entrance to the Library. Pat’s son, Steven; daughter, Rhonda; son-in-law Masahiro; and grandchildren Hanna and Mathew plan to attend. Mayor Amery Boyer will address the gathering and other Councillors – current and past – will be in attendance. The Town Crier, Christine Igot will be there as well as Members of the Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library. Community members are invited to attend this short ceremony in recognition of one of the town’s active and long-serving Councillors, Pat Power.
