Academy Library Day
Academy Library Day in Annapolis Royal: An all day fund raising event at the proposed new library location in the Academy (the former ARRA building). Come by and support AWEC and other Read-a-thon participants, have coffee with local authors throughout the day, hear Brenda Dunn speak about the significance of Fort Anne as the first national historic park (2:00pm). Paint the Town
A plein air painting weekend where over 80 artists will set up their easels at various locations throughout Annapolis Royal. This popular event draws onlookers and art buyers from around Atlantic Canada and beyond. Emerging and established artists from across Nova Scotia find a special spot that inspires them to paint, sculpt, carve, photograph or sketch.
