Auxiliary Police

The purpose of this by-law is to enable the Chief of Police of the Town of Annapolis Royal to appoint persons as auxiliary police officers to assist the Police Department in the performance of its duties.

Appointment of persons as auxiliary police officers shall be in accordance with Section 91 of the Police Act, the regulations made pursuant to the Police Act, and subject to budget approval by Town Council.

This bylaw is effective the date of publishing.
