OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGET
The 2026-2027 Operating Budget and Capital Budget were approved at the March 18, 2026 Council meeting. The approved Operating Budget is $3,112,019.05 and the approved Capital Budget is $2,144,498. The tax rates of $1.76 for residential and $3.26 for commercial. The fire rate for 2026-2027 is .001066 and is included in the overall tax rate.

HOSPITALITY EXPENSE REPORTS
Sections 23(3) and 408AA of the Municipal Government Act requires that the Town of Annapolis Royal shares a list of all expenses incurred while hosting individuals from outside of a municipality or village for conducting business activities which would include receptions, ceremonies, conferences, or other group events. This section provides reports for the current fiscal year and the last two fiscal years.

CAO & COUNCIL EXPENSES
This section provides quarterly expense reports for Council and the Chief Administative Officer. If there is no report available for a particular quarter then there were no expenses incurred by that individual during that period of time. Reports are available online for the period of time that the current Council is elected. Past reports are available at Town Hall.
