Dugua Room: Emergency Preparedness Information Session

Join the Town of Annapolis Royal’s Environment Advisory Committee is hosting an Information Session on Emergency Preparedness. Are you ready to weather the storm? What would you do if you needed to evacuate?

Experts from the Province, County and emergency response organizations will be presenting on topics such as general emergency preparedness, the Nova Scotia Guard, how to “Fire-smart” your home, and keeping pets safe. There will also be a presentation on research regarding how forestry practices can affect wildfire behavior.

Annapolis REMO (Regional Emergency Management Organization) and Intact Insurance will have information tables with more information.
