Over the coming months, you may notice AIM Network forestry specialists walking through Annapolis Royal’s streets and parks. They’re carrying out a tree inventory as part of the Town’s new Urban Forest Management Plan. This includes recording the species, size, and condition of trees along public streets, in parks, and on other municipal property.
This information will help us understand what’s growing in our community today, and guide decisions about planting, pruning, and protecting trees for decades to come. There’s no need to worry if you see someone inspecting or measuring a tree on your street or near your home – we are just including it in the inventory.
