The Town of Annapolis Royal is proud to celebrate Town Crier Christine Connolly who has been recognized with a Provincial Volunteer Award for her committment, dedication and service to Annapolis Royal.
Christine has been an active volunteer in Annapolis Royal serving on many local committees, boards and volunteer organizations. In the role of Town Crier she made 95 proclamations in 2025 to promote Annapolis Royal and area at events from flag raisings to birthday celebrations, to store openings and parades, and every Saturday at the Farmers’ and Traders’ market. She also participated in the International Town Crier Competition in New Glasgow representing the Town of Annapolis Royal. Christine is a tremendous asset to every event and organization she gets involved with and is a wonderful representative of the Town.
