Experience the “Cradle of Acadie” with 10th generation Acadian / Métis Alan Melanson. Learn about the interactions between the Acadians and the Mi’kmaq on this award-winning tour. Enjoy colourful stories, from the birth of the Acadian culture to the deportation, from the renaissance movement to the modern-day archaeology projects. Alan’s ancestors founded the Melanson Settlement (now a National Historic Site) and Grand-Pré  (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Sponsored by The Historical Association of Annapolis Royal.
