The

Annapolis Royal Police Cadet Corps

 

Aims to foster leadership abilities, citizenship, education, physical fitness, camaraderie and career development among  youth.  The program focuses on policing, while developing skills socially, academically, and physically, producing an individual with confidence and respect. Activities and course material utilize police themes and principles, while offering youth the opportunity to develop life skills through experience that will support their personal development as positive current and future leaders in our community.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING  ACCEPTED  FOR THIS PROGRAM

 

The Cadets are to run every 2 weeks from September to June on a Thursday evening for 3 hours from 6pm to 9pm. Cadets will take part in a variety of activities and have guest speakers.

This program is aimed at youth 12 to 17 years old (aging out at 18)

The cost to join is free and is open to all youth from Annapolis Royal and surrounding areas.

Mandatory to join is completion of application form, waiver forms and criminal record check.

At the start of each training year Parents will be invited to attend an orientation night to ensure they understand the scope of the program and expectations.
