Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Accessibility Advisory Committee for the Town of Annapolis Royal will no longer continue as there is now a joint committee serving the Town of Annapolis Royal, County of Annapolis, Town of Middelton, and the Village of Lawrencetown.

The Province has mandated this committee, and this new committee will be called the Annapolis County Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Advisory Committee.

The plan is for the four municipalities to work together to review/update a joint Accessibility/Equity and Anti-Racism Plan and to submit the strategy to the Province by March 31, 2025.

If you are interested in joining this new committee, please contact CAO, Sandi Millett-Campbell (cao@annapolisroyal.com) and she will forward your information on to the relevant person. This committee shall include up to 10 people from across Annapolis County, duly appointed by the IDEA Governance Committee, and the plan is to have this committee established by January 2025.
